Comparing Companies

Put companies side by side and see exactly how their privacy practices differ.

How It Works

The /compare page lets you select up to 3 companies and view their privacy data in a structured side-by-side layout. All data comes from the same automated analysis that powers individual company profiles — nothing is manually curated.

You can search for companies by name or domain, add them to the comparison, and switch between six focused tabs to explore different aspects of their privacy practices.

Each tab focuses on a specific area. Here's what is compared in each:

Reading the Results

  • Color coding: fields like "Sells Personal Data" or "Arbitration Required" use green/red indicators so you can spot differences at a glance.
  • Missing data: if a company hasn't been analyzed yet or doesn't have certain data available, the cell shows "—" rather than a misleading value.
  • Scores vs. signals: numeric scores (Privacy Score, AI Score, Removal Difficulty) are directly comparable. Boolean signals (GDPR Compliant, Sells Data) show yes/no. Counts (Rights Listed, Tracking Vendors) let you see relative complexity.

Limitations

Comparisons are based on the same automated analysis as individual profiles. The same caveats apply: AI analysis can miss nuance, policies change over time, and some signals may not be available for all companies. Use comparisons as a starting point for due diligence, not as a final assessment.
